How the points are calculated:
- In each dual meet there is a scoring system in place against each team.
1st place - 5 points
2nd place - 3 points
3rd place - 1 point
- The relays are a winner take all 5 points. There are no second place points in a relay for the dual meets. These points are divided amongst the four members of the relay.
- The post season meets eligible for the point system are the Class Meet, Divisional Championships, and the State Championships. Invitationals, Freshman Championships, and the JV Championships are not included in the score.
- In championship meets the points are scored differently as follows:
